Shawn Boltz said “Prophecy is about relationship” (88, Translating God) and the 

“prophetic ministry is about your being a gateway to God’s thoughts, emotions, and heart for others through your connection with Him” (18). 

The Art of the Creative Seer doesn’t begin with good ideas and new creative techniques. The Creative Seer begins with a genuine intimate relationship with God while resting in His all-consuming Presence. The “Connection” is primary while the Expression is secondary. As Creative Seers, we must allow ourselves to become Captivated by our Connection with Him and be ready to Respond with Expression when His embrace draws us close when He whispers. The journey of the Creative Seer is a journey of Divine Romance, not creative performance. 

This week, give yourself the gift of falling in love with Him all over again. When you find His love taking your breath away, Respond. Respond with a drawing, Respond with writing, Respond with a dance move that expresses your heart. Give yourself the gift of being Captivated by your Connection with Him and Respond with Expression when His embrace draws you close and He whispers.
